The National Housing Trust (NHT) invites engineering firms registered with the Professional Engineering Registration Board (PERB) to submit proposals to provide pre-contract and post-contract Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP&F) engineering consultancy services for the supply and installation of renewable energy solutions at the NHT offices island-wide.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The successful engineering firm will be required to:
- Conduct on-site reconnaissance and assessment
- Undertake review and modification of pre-existing renewable energy technical design
- Prepare concept and schematic designs
- Prepare design development, utility submission(s) and final design drawings
- Prepare the pre-tender estimate, tender and contract documents to facilitate the engagement of a supplier to supply and install the renewable energy solutions
- Evaluate bids received and submit a tender evaluation report to the NHT
- Obtain government inspection approval and/or other relevant approvals
- Provide post-contract services to administer the contract for the installation, commissioning and handover of the renewable systems and its antecedents in accordance with the required codes and standards
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Consultants must provide:
- Evidence of tax compliance
- Evidence that the Firm AND the Lead Mechanical/Electrical Engineer are registered with the Professional Engineering Registration Board (PERB)

RETURN OF TENDERS
Proposals must be submitted online on or before Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Proposals will be opened online via the e-procurement website at https://www.gojep.gov.jm on the same day, immediately following the proposal submission deadline.
